This blog is built on a lie. It's not actually "good to be a Gadberry." The truth is, it's absolutely the best thing, so "good" doesn't even come close to describing it! I married Mr. Gadberry on January 2, 2015 and thus began my life as a Gadberry.
Currently, I'm a fifth grade teacher down in small-town Utah. This is my third year teaching and I love {mostly} every day with my crazy kiddos. They make me so happy.
I am from Portland, Oregon originally where I have a pretty awesome family. Arguably, I go over to visit them way too often. When you have the world's most adorable niece, a comfy bed, and laughs for days, how could you not??
In my spare time, I enjoy playing super smash brothers, drawing elephant behinds, watching old re-runs of Gilmore Girls, going to the gym, not wedding planning, and adventuring with my boy. If we're being real, every single one of those activities probably involves food somehow.

This cute boy is currently at Brigham Young University and is studying finance. Could there be a more boring major?? Juuuust kidding!
He is from the super cool town of Effingham, Illinois. Yes, *Effing*Ham. This stuff is too good to be made up. Michael's family still lives there, so I look forward to getting to know "The Ham" pretty well over the years!
Michael enjoys all things sports, much to my dismay. Approximately 83% of the time, he is watching ESPN, playing a pick-up game, or reading updates on his phone about games. I've learned to tolerate it. In the other 17%, he can be found taking pictures, hanging out with his wife (ME! #lucky), or eating donuts.

You could say we're pretty happy together.
